ANDY
Andy Gallant (astroglide, ADHG) was born in an
igloo in the middle of the tiny island of Tuvalu. He was raised
by harp-playing wolves, and by 3 months of age, learned to play
drums using the bones of wild boars. Later, he canoed to Toronto
and attended school, studying trumpet and percussion, and toured
the
US and Canada with the senior jazz band and orchestra. Since
then Andy has
played with many bone-in-the-nose bands, including The Temple,
Loveson,
Dreadvice, The Booming Airplanes, The Lakadazicals, Milo, and
Mike Smith
(post-Sandbox). Andy's music has been featured on MuchMusic,
CITY TV
(Toronto), CBC radio, Q107 (Toronto), University of Toronto
radio, CFNY
102.1, and in his mom's cassette player. He gives free bone-in-the-nose
lessons.
