PETER

Born and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, Peter left home at the age of 17 to attend St. FX University to obtain his B. Mus degree. After a year and a half of studies, Peter decided to move to Halifax to pursue his love of performing. It was in Halifax that he met and played with soul singer Muzzy Marshall & Atlantic Soul Review, only later to join forces with Big Fish via Dale Letcher and the Lakadazicals. With a major background in Soul/Funk, Peter accredits his funk fingers from such bands as Parliament, George Clinton, James Brown, and of course Tower of Power. He has recorded or performed with artists such as Muzzy Marshall, Sister Sledge (We are Family), The Lakadazicals, Barnacle, Shy Luv, Cindy Cain, Papa Grand, Trobiz, Sam Moon, Clam Chowder, Boys Next Door, Tony Smith, Mass Distraction, just to name a few…
